Mr. Manuj Khurana has nearly 9 years of experience in a management consulting, advisory, and operations in varied emerging markets with a particular focus on India, Middle-East, and South Asia.

Prior to NewMo, Manuj worked with Invest India, the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation agency of the Government of India set up within the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industries. At Invest India, he initially led the Renewable Energy practice and then started the Electric Mobility practice, leading extensive work in policy advocacy, investment promotion and facilitation, and cross-border partnerships.

He provided EV policy inputs to the think-tank of Government of India, NITI Aayog and state of Telangana and was key stakeholder in consummation of Andhra Pradesh State EV policy in June 2018. He also provided inputs on the proposed Automotive policy and second edition of Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles (FAME) policy to Department of Heavy Industries (DHI). He has been writing, speaking, and interviewing extensively on the EV policy and role of industry players.

Prior to Invest India, Manuj was a Strategy Consultant at Accenture Strategy with focus on growth strategy and M&A. Before Accenture Strategy, he held positions across multinationals and Indian companies in consulting and automotive sector including CEB (now Gartner), i3 Consulting, and John Deere India.

Manuj is a member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development’s (WBCSD) REMobility program to promote corporate adoption of electric mobility in India and honorary member of the Electric Mobility Alliance, driving electric mobility industry in India.

He received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and CFA Charter from CFA Institute, USA.
