Mr. Rajesh Loomba is Managing Director at Eco rent a car, India’s most awarded & largest privately held b2b people transportation co. & Secretary at Indian Tourist Transporters’ Association (ITTA).
He started going to his Dad’s small home office since the age of 11. That’s where he learnt about entrepreneurship, finance, innovative practices and art of dealing with people. His father, Captain KR Loomba, retired from the Indian Army, started the business with just one Ambassador Car in 1975 in Delhi.
After Captain Loomba’s demise in 2001, Rajesh, an avid yoga practitioner like his late father, took the helm at Eco. By 2018 Eco opened its 15th own branch thereby covering the length & breadth of India with 15 owned and 40 partner locations with over 850 employees and over 5000 cars.
An MBA from the IILM, he spearheaded the ground transportation services solution in India in professional way to cater the need of masses.
Eco has received numerous awards and recognitions including the prestigious Dunn and Bradstreet Award, Entrepreneur.com award, various hospitality industry awards and the National Tourism Award conferred by H’ble President of India in 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018 for the 4 consecutive years.
Rajesh recently handed over charge at Eco to a professional CEO and is now looking to grow opportunities in passenger ground transportation.
